Since 2019, when we were known as Saving Grace Au Pair Agency, we’ve proudly connected families with the perfect au pair matches. As we’ve grown, we’ve expanded our services to include babysitting, ensuring we can support families in more ways than ever.
We cater to both neurotypical and neurodiverse families, ensuring every child receives the specialised care they deserve. We carefully interview and select top candidates to meet your family’s needs. For neurodiverse families, we take an extra step by enrolling our au pairs in facilitator training courses, equipping them with the skills to provide the highest level of support.

Au Pair Services
Our au pairs are here to help lighten your load and focus on your children’s well-being and development. Their responsibilities may include:
- School pickups and drop-offs for sports or activities
- Assisting with homework, exam preparation, and projects
- Light cooking and organising tasks
- Supporting your children’s educational and daily needs
Facilitator Services
Facilitators are specially trained to support neurodiverse children, offering assistance at school and beyond. They work closely with your child to:
- Help them better understand their teachers and lessons
- Provide physical aid, such as assisting with writing and reading
- Serve as their hands and feet, ensuring they feel supported and included in every environment
Babysitting Services
Our babysitters are your go-to solution for when you need a moment to focus on yourself, attend a meeting, or enjoy a date night. They’ll care for and entertain your children for a few hours with engaging activities that minimise screen time. We even provide activity boxes filled with games, arts and crafts, and more to ensure a fun and enriching experience for your little ones.

Meet Our Founder: Nikita Nagel
At the heart of Oaklynn House is Nikita Nagel, a passionate advocate for children and families. With years of experience as an au pair both in South Africa and abroad, Nikita brings a wealth of knowledge, care, and expertise to her role as the founder.
Nikita is a fully qualified facilitator and a dedicated ambassador for the autism community. As the former Operations Manager of Autism Resources SA and the organizer of South Africa’s first-ever Square Peg Festival, she has a deep understanding of the diverse needs of neurodiverse families.
Her vision for Oaklynn House is clear: to provide families with trusted, personalised support that helps them navigate life’s demands with ease. Nikita takes great care in matching each family with the ideal au pair, babysitter, or facilitator. From the initial consultation to the final placement, she offers hands-on guidance, ensuring your family feels confident and secure every step of the way.
Above all, Nikita values the safety and well-being of every family she works with. She believes that with the right support, families can find balance and create a nurturing environment where children can thrive.
